I worked on integrating the Fiserv Card API into Flutterwave’s infrastructure to facilitate seamless card payments across Europe and the UK. This project was particularly challenging due to the need to configure Spring Boot’s RestTemplate to use a self-signed SSL/TLS certificate, ensuring secure communication.

Leveraging technologies like Spring Boot for its microservice architecture, Spring Security for robust authentication and authorization, and Spring Data JPA with Hibernate for efficient database management, I successfully navigated these challenges.

The result was a secure, scalable payment solution that significantly enhanced Flutterwave's payment capabilities in these regions.
